Huatulco, Mexico

12 28

After a nice day at sea, yesterday, we arrived in Huatulco.  On board, we had one Spanish lesson yesterday, along with a lecture on Hispanic culture and line dancing.  As we looked around we noticed that had been here before.

Huatulco is less developed than VP, but still a tourist area

As you see in the first picture, the nearest beach to the ship was overrun by locals and their kids.  It was very crowded.  So we found this internet cafe and are talking to yous guys.

Can you see the pelican?  The swimmer got too close to him, so he flew away.  There are lots of pelicans here, buzzing the beaches.

Say Hi to our Friend Chris - he's been down there for a week now and has been giving us weather updates...79 degrees, eh?...again? Lemme guess...tomorrow...79 degrees? Yep. Thanks, Chris. It's a small place, I'm sure you'll bump into him.

The swimmer's just lucky his head wasn't pecked into a nub...or swallowed up into his pouch...those things are out to get us - they never have forgotten their dinosaur ancestry. careful...

How's your room? Is there enough room for your stuff? Are the 30 people who are staying nice? Old, young, ??
Dan and I went to Universal Studios on Sunday - tickets expired Dec. 31. It was fun. We stayed until they closed at 9 pm. Nice view of the SF Valley; remember that?
Have fun, stay healthy, and keep blogging. Some of us live vicariously through you.
