3 19 SINGAPORE

This post is out of order.  We are at a Starbucks and tried to post the Kuala Lumpur post.  It keeps timing out.  So I will have to find a way to make the upload smaller.  In the meantime I wanted to post something, so here is the next day’s post.

Singapore is another major city.  The difference here is that there is no smog.  It is a very clean city.  You will get arrested for chewing gum, dropping a cigarette butt, etc.  Forget selling drugs……you are put to death.

So no worries here about safety.

We docked attached to a shopping center.  We were here before and did not find anything we were interested in then.  We took a cable car to an island for the view.  There is no cable car now.  The towers are there but no cables.

So, since we are going to be here for two days, we will do some internet and maybe some shopping.  Mostly we will rest.  Rest? you say.  Yes.  There are limited activities on the ship when we have a shore day, so no bridge lessons or anything else we feel the need to do.

So, we left the ship.  Not the easiest thing to do here.  Here, and no where else so far, we have to have our passports with us.  They are checks both leaving and coming back to the ship.  Anyway, here is what we did so far..

Look closely.  Yes, those are fish eating my skin.  Actually they are not only eating dead skin, but they are eating my callus’s. And after 10 minutes my feet are much smoother.  Maybe tomorrow I will go back for another treatment.  I had a lot of callus’s.  How does it feel? you ask.  After the first shock of feeling something nibbling on you, it tickles.  If you spread your toes, they nibble in between.  I really, really like it.

After we  leave here we are heading for Cambodia.  I am looking forward to getting a massage.

Love to all.
